Elementary School Attended

Came to HHS After 6th Grade

School Story:

Moved to Havertown 8/61, moved to Michigan 6/65. Only knew some of you from 9/62 till 6/63, when you graduated. Mr. Howard was my HR teacher, when prayer was outlawed he almost cried in class. Had a Miss Chin for Bio, rumor was that she dated some of our Seniors. First time I played organized sports was 10th grade football, position was tackling dummy. 125 lbs of sore body. Ran Track senior year, set school 440 record, think it lasted almost 30 years (hard to see the record board from Grand Rapids, plus, everything went metric). Had a great time in a great school. Came from East High, Rochester, NY, where grades 8-12 were in one building. Huge urban school. Old neighborhood has their own website as does the local Catholic elementary school which I did not attend, too far. Two of my brothers attended St. Denis while in PA.

Never knew Bill but I hope that he was able to pass his knowledge and craft to individuals who shared his passion.

You have a number of guest members but some haven't joined, how can they be guests? Ewald Kalmbach for example.

Hi Kingman, I heard from Robert Rickards overnight -- Roger Rickards passed away in 2001. Robert thought you were aware. Sorry to pass on this sad news of Roger's death.
